Something's better than nothing

Yesterday I was diligently laboring away on a tattoo design for a friend (a favor), when a certain 8 year-old, of whom I'm exceedingly fond (we'll call her Ramone), asked if I'd gone for a jog. I had not, nor had I been for a jog in just over a week. She was interested in accompanying me, and I was more than happy to step away from the drawing board. I didn't have much time, as I was supposed to have band practice later on, and there was still much to be done on the tattoo design), and Ramone was low on long-term energy, so it worked out. We popped in on our buddy Alice and zipped back just in time to miss the rain. I'm looking forward to more of these.

Like you said--something is better than nothing--plus,you're making a kid happy. Sounds like you have a good idea with your hill workout. I'm nervous,Andy said he has changes coming soon. That usually means more punishment of a diabolical nature.

I know. That's why I stayed in bed this morning. Well, that and the downpour. I'd never make it in the Pacific northwest...
